— 古今穿越，传承与创新的华裔风采 --

2024年10月14日，RBH华裔古今穿越童模秀在纽约布鲁克林的Roulette Intermedium完美收官。今年的比赛由纽约著名模特导师May担任秀导，为保证舞台的专业水准，特别邀请了正在美国攻读舞蹈博士的珍妮·科恩奖得主许瑶老师担任舞台总监。本届评委阵容强大，由Yiling Hsu、Daina Lee以及著名模特导师兼评委丽桐组成。On October 14, 2024, the RBH Chinese-American Children's Model Show successfully concluded at Roulette Intermedium in Brooklyn, New York. This year's show was directed by renowned New York model coach May. To ensure a high level of professionalism on stage, Selma Jeanne Cohen Award recipient and Ph.D. candidate in dance, Professor Yao Xu, was specially invited to serve as the stage director. The event featured a distinguished panel of judges, including Yiling Hsu, Daina Lee, and renowned model coach and judge, Li Tong.​

第一轮：古风秀

First Round: Traditional Chinese Clothing

演出在彩虹屋著名钢琴作曲家Ilya老师的独奏《天空之城》下拉开帷幕，带领观众穿越回古代。The show opened with a solo performance of "Castle in the Sky" by renowned pianist and composer Ilya from Rainbow House, leading the audience on a journey back in time to ancient eras.​

​来自法拉盛、布鲁克林、长岛和皇后区的40多位年龄在3到18岁的选手，在彩虹屋老师们的带领下，流水线般展示了三套服装，展现了不同历史时期与地域的时尚。选手们以华美的传统服饰展示了中国古代各朝代和地域的独特风情。Over 40 contestants, aged 3 to 18, from Flushing, Brooklyn, Long Island, and Queens, showcased three outfits in a seamless presentation under the guidance of Rainbow House teachers. They displayed fashion from various historical periods and regions, wearing magnificent traditional attire that highlighted the unique cultural charm of different Chinese dynasties and locales.

特别是由‘唐人街精灵舞蹈团’带来的《乐天舞》表演，将西域风情与古装的独特魅力演绎得淋漓尽致。The highlight was the performance of "Yuetian Dance" by the Chinatown Fairy Dance Troupe, which vividly captured the unique charm of ancient costumes and the exotic allure of Western regions.

彩虹屋的舞蹈高老师展现了极高的专业素养，临时为本场活动编排了舞蹈《缠》，巧妙地运用了上下层舞台与延展台，为观众呈现了极具视觉震撼的体验。Rainbow House's dance instructor, Ms. Gao, showcased remarkable professionalism by choreographing the dance piece "Entanglement" specifically for this event. She skillfully utilized both the upper and lower stages, along with the extended runway, to deliver a visually stunning experience for the audience.

第二轮：创意秀

Second Round: Creative T-Shirt​

​第二轮的创意T恤展示中，观众看到了选手们天马行空的想象力，模特们在舞台上从古风穿越到了现代。In the second round's Creative T-Shirt Showcase, the audience witnessed the contestants' boundless imagination as the models transitioned from ancient styles to modern fashion on stage.

在选手换装期间，主持人与现场观众进行了互动游戏，现场笑声不断，气氛热烈。彩虹屋艺术教育学苑的小舞者们为我们献上了《铮》，铁骨铮铮让我们看到了如同花木兰的气魄。During the contestants' change time, the host engaged the audience in interactive games, filling the venue with laughter and creating a lively atmosphere. Meanwhile, the young dancers from Rainbow House Art Education Academy performed "Zheng," a powerful and spirited dance that evoked the bravery and strength of Mulan.

第三轮：时尚潮流秀

Third Round: Fashion Showcase

当选手们踏着动感音乐，穿着各式时尚潮服登场时，许多选手更是以充满未来感的服饰亮相，让观众不仅感受到从古至今的时尚变迁，更提前窥见了未来的潮流趋势。在观众人气评选环节，3岁至80岁的观众们都积极参与，为自己心仪的选手送去认可与支持。As the contestants stepped onto the stage to dynamic music, wearing a variety of stylish and trendy outfits, many showcased futuristic attire that not only highlighted the evolution of fashion from ancient to modern times but also offered a glimpse into future trends. During the audience popularity voting segment, viewers ranging from 3 to 80 years old enthusiastically participated, showing their recognition and support for their favorite contestants.

在颁奖环节前，彩虹屋的‘乘风破浪姐姐团’带来了精彩的《卜卦》舞蹈表演，让整个结局更为扑朔迷离。继精灵舞蹈学院的《俏》后，Suyi Xiong荣获冠军，Ansonbella Jiang获得亚军，Emily Huang摘得季军。Before the award presentation, the "Sisters Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves" troupe from Rainbow House delivered an exciting dance performance titled "Divination," adding an air of mystery to the conclusion of the event. Following the performance by the  "Charming," from Fairy Dance Troupe, Suyi Xiong was crowned the champion, Ansonbella Jiang took home the runner-up title, and Emily Huang secured third place.
