        2023年的夏天随着九月的秋风吹起也落下帷幕，伴随着开学的脚步将近，RBH Center亲子文化交流中心于8月18日邀请社区数百华人齐聚布鲁克林新凤凰城，欢度亲子时光！并为暑期获得总统奖的义工庆祝。由彩虹屋艺术教育中心独家赞助，更是承包了一整个晚上的精彩。Summer in 2023 came to a close with the arrival of September's autumn breeze. As the footsteps of the new school year approached, RBH Center, a Parent-Child Cultural Exchange Center, invited hundreds of members of the Chinese community to gather in Brooklyn's New Phoenix City on August 18th, for a joyful parent-child bonding time! The event also celebrated the volunteers who received the President's Award for their contributions during the summer. Sponsored exclusively by the Rainbow House Art Education Center, the event promised a spectacular evening. 
​        每年夏天，彩虹屋为2岁到8年级的学生打造了适合他们的暑期夏令营。今年暑期共设有所5所分校，即便是在史丹岛新开设的彩虹屋分校，也相当受家长的欢迎。彩虹屋专门设计了各个年级的学习计划，让孩子不仅能巩固学过的知识，还能提前预习新学期的知识要点，夯实基础，全面提升，更有绘画、国际象棋、唱歌、舞蹈、吉他、钢琴等艺术课程。除此之外，今年布鲁克林42街分校还提供丰富的课外活动：篮球、手球、足球、网球等，希望在孩子学业进步的同时也能够塑造健康性格，养成良好习惯和艺术情操。Every summer, Rainbow House hosts summer camps tailored for students aged 2 to 8th grade. This summer, there were a total of 5 campuses, including the newly opened Rainbow House branch in Staten Island, which was warmly welcomed by parents. Rainbow House designed specific learning programs for each grade level, allowing children to not only review previously learned knowledge but also preview key points for the upcoming semester, laying a solid foundation and comprehensively enhancing their skills. Additionally, there were art courses such as painting, chess, singing, dancing, guitar, piano, and more. Furthermore, the Brooklyn 42nd Street branch offered a variety of extracurricular activities including basketball, handball, soccer, tennis, etc., aiming to foster healthy character development and cultivate good habits and artistic sensibilities alongside academic progress for the children.

       今年亲子聚餐派对上，孩子们准备的节目可谓是让家长们应接不暇！一群训练有素的小舞蹈演员们带来的《礼》，袅袅婷婷、聘聘婷婷，款步姗姗仪态万方地拉开了晚宴的序幕。​At this year's parent-child dinner party, the children prepared a program that kept the parents on their toes! A group of well-trained young dancers presented "The Gift," gracefully and elegantly, with every step and gesture opening the evening's festivities.

       接着，一群2-4岁的萌娃表演的“Lollipop”幼儿律动舞蹈，以及亲子一起合作完成的“You Are My Sunshine”，把亲子氛围感拉满，每个现场观众的脸上不知不觉漾起甜蜜的笑容。Following that, a group of adorable toddlers aged 2-4 performed a "Lollipop" rhythmic dance, followed by a heartwarming rendition of "You Are My Sunshine," performed in collaboration with parents. These performances filled the air with a sense of closeness between parent and child, leaving sweet smiles on the faces of every audience member present.
       RBH亲子文化活动推广中心，一直致力推广文化传承！持续不断坚持开展各种文化活动，希望华裔儿童从小有更多机会在中华璀璨的艺术海洋中，喜欢并滋生文化认同感，从而能接受、理解并尊敬父母。彩虹屋史丹顿岛分校带来的诗朗诵《将进酒》和《中国人中国字》，都让我们见证文化的魅力。The RBH Center has been dedicated to promoting cultural heritage! Continuously, we persist in organizing various cultural events, aiming to provide more opportunities for Chinese children to immerse themselves in the splendid ocean of Chinese arts from a young age, fostering a love for and a sense of cultural identity, thereby enabling them to accept, understand, and respect their parents. The recitations of poems such as "To the Tune of 'Gazing at the River'" and "Chinese People, Chinese Characters," brought to us by the Staten Island branch of Rainbow House, have allowed us to witness the charm of culture.

       彩虹屋42街分校的暑期学生们带来少儿舞蹈《勇气大爆发》和《L,O,V,E》”教导孩子们，要有爱的勇气，去传播爱，携手共建团结、美好的华人社区。来自彩虹屋55街分校的一群帅气男孩，带来的街舞《阳光男孩》让我们看到了孩子们的活力和朝气蓬勃。最让人赞叹的是来自上州的陈子妍，以中国武术之长拳获得阵阵喝彩声，真可谓是“少年强，则中国强！”与之成反差萌的《Let it go》和《天鹅湖》两支芭蕾舞的小天使们在舞台上舞动的身姿优美。这样的一个仲夏夜，让每个孩子们在舞台上都拥有一段无法言语的美妙的体验。The students from Rainbow House's 42nd Street branch brought forth children's dances titled "Courageous Burst" and "L,O,V,E," teaching children to have the courage to spread love and to work together to build a united and beautiful Chinese community. A group of handsome boys from Rainbow House's 55th Street branch performed a street dance titled "Sunshine Boys," showcasing the energy and vitality of the children. Particularly commendable was Chen Ziyuan from Upper State, who received thunderous applause for her performance of Chinese martial arts. Truly, "Strong youth make a strong China!" Contrasting with this, the adorable angels of ballet danced gracefully to "Let it Go" and "Swan Lake," displaying their elegance on stage. On such a midsummer night, each child had an unforgettable and indescribable experience on stage.

       布鲁克林的辣妈们，也是有舞台梦的。由彩虹屋校长，RBH非盈利机构的发起人石巧燕和安利汇友会长郑娜联合辣妈们展示了一段优雅的旗袍舞《夜来香》。这些家长排除万难从工作与家庭的琐碎中抽离一小会儿，做回自己。她们在舞台上身姿优雅、端庄，给人一种温婉、柔美的感觉。The hot mamas of Brooklyn also have dreams of being on stage. Led by Rainbow House's principal and RBH non-profit organization founder, Elain Shi, along with Anlihuiyou's president, Zheng Na, these mothers showcased an elegant cheongsam dance titled "Night Fragrance." Despite the challenges of balancing work and family, these parents took a moment to reclaim themselves. On stage, they exuded elegance and grace, evoking a sense of gentleness and beauty.

       RBH Center亲子晚宴的主角，——参加2023年暑期夏令营的义工们，也非常给力，为当晚的亲子聚餐带来了教育意义重大的话剧表演“Water Gun”！以欢快、幽默的方式引导孩子，学会守规矩，谦逊，有礼貌。在众多义工中，以乐于助人，吃苦耐劳，勤奋好学且上进脱颖而出的十位义工，被评为总统义工奖：Jethro Liu, Ashely Lin, Ivy Li, Allan Teng, Eric Chen, Christina Chen, Richard Lin, Stephen Lin, Evan Ye 和 Andrew Liu。RBH衷心感谢他们的付出和陪伴，希望这个暑假能成为你们美好的回忆！The highlight of the RBH Center's parent-child dinner party was the volunteers who participated in the 2023 summer camp. They delivered a highly impactful educational drama performance titled "Water Gun!" in a cheerful and humorous manner, guiding children to learn about discipline, humility, and manners. Among the many volunteers, ten individuals stood out for their willingness to help, hard work, diligence, and eagerness to learn, earning them the President's Volunteer Award: Jethro Liu, Ashely Lin, Ivy Li, Allan Teng, Eric Chen, Christina Chen, Richard Lin, Stephen Lin, Evan Ye, and Andrew Liu. RBH sincerely thanks them for their dedication and companionship, hoping that this summer will become a beautiful memory for them!

        “Change My Heart，oh God” 和《云上太阳》，更希望在许多家庭矛盾、面对经济压力或其遇到他不可挡的意外时，总是有盼望，“虽然小雨洒在脸上，云上太阳，它总不改变！”，让我们心意更新，把冷漠变成爱，去关怀和温暖身边的人。最后，晚宴在香港的温牧师为在场的孩子们祝福祷告中，落下帷幕。许多孩子们带着精美的礼物带，还意犹未尽地徘徊在舞台边。RBH 期待，明年更多机构能加入，给更多孩子一个完整的夏天。"Change My Heart, oh God" and "Sun Above the Clouds" are songs that resonate deeply with many families, especially during times of conflict, economic pressure, or unexpected challenges. They bring hope, reminding us that even though the rain may fall on our faces, the sun above the clouds remains unchanged. They encourage us to renew our hearts, to turn indifference into love, and to care for and warm those around us. Finally, the dinner concluded with a blessing and prayer from Pastor Wen from Hong Kong, leaving many children lingering near the stage with their exquisite gifts. RBH looks forward to welcoming more organizations next year, providing more children with a fulfilling summer experience.

    踩着夏天的尾巴，孩子们的暑期也画上了圆满的句号。我们感恩所有长久以来支持和陪伴RBH的家长和孩子们，感恩每一个人的付出和贡献，感恩相遇！As summer draws to a close, the children's summer vacation also comes to a satisfying conclusion. We are grateful for the continued support and companionship of all the parents and children who have been with RBH for so long. We are thankful for everyone's dedication and contributions, and grateful for the encounters we have had!
