RBH Center has a team of highly qualified teachers, all of whom have been selected through a rigorous evaluation process. Each teacher has a rich experience in teaching and how to get along with children. While helping the children enrich their academic knowledge, we also help them to develop positive habits and social skills.
Elain Shi--Principal, founder of RBH and New Rainbow HouseMs.Elain has been in Education for over 20 years and holds a Bachelor of Business Management degree. In 2012, she first founded an educational organization called RBH Center, which includes an after-school tutoring and daycare program. She believes in high quality education and a positive educational environment that promotes school growth. Her passion for education and vision for the future has kept her striving for twenty years and will continue to work hard for her dream.

Kenton Zheng--Vice PrincipalHe has attended one of the specialized high schools in NY and obtained the International Baccalaureate Diploma. He graduated from the University at Albany with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and worked in Childhood Education for over 10 years. He works hard to cater to each individual student's needs and strives to see excellence in each student with many achieving academic improvements.

Kevin Wang--Teacher, SupervisorKevin has more than ten years of working experience in Childhood Education. He is a strong leader and problem-solver, not only is that he is well-versed in kindergarten and elementary school education, he also specializes in individualized student care tutoring. He is passionate about working with students, and develop new skills and overcome different obstacles while creating everlasting relationships with parents.

Tingting Wu--Teacher, Supervisor
Tingting obtained a Bachelor degree of Art in English Literature at Hunter College. She is currently a student of a Master's program at Hunter College, School of Education and will receive her teaching certificate in 2024. Tingting has been working in R.B.H. for 8 years and has rich experience in teaching students from K to 5th grade. With her exclusive teaching experience, Tingting now serves as a supervisor advising the volunteers and tutors of R.B.H.

Daisy Shi--General Manager of SI
Daisy holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. She had worked in public kindergarten as teacher assistant. She was also the principal of Hua Xia Staten Island Chinese School Branch from 2021-2022. In the fall of 2022, she joined RBH Center to assist with logistics as the general manager. She is committed to build the school as a social and cultural interaction platform to unite Chinese communities.

Kalen Chen--Supervisor of SI
Holds a Bachelor degree of Engineering Science in Shanghai University. Kalen has a rich experience with teaching and tutoring, she used her language skills to instruct and teach English and math to students in both China and the United States for many years. She has also worked as a Chinese and English translator at large events. As both a Chinese and English speaker, she is willing to apply her diligent work ethics and to utilize her fluent bilingual knowledge.

Petvy Li--Guitar teacherHolds a Bachelor Degree of Biochemistry in Hunter College and
currently pursuing as undergraduate researcher due to his creative contribution to the discipline in Hunter College. As passionate about the guitar as he is about his education, he has been learning guitar for several years and hopes to bring joy to life by teaching guitar to the kids. |
Jessica ZhaoJessica currently attends Stony Brook University and is majoring in Health Sciences. Since working at RBH Center, she has discovered the joy of education, as well as the process of exploring the world with children. She is dedicated to improve the children's math and English skills, hoping to build a solid foundation for their future learning.

Jiayin Wang--Teacher, SupervisorJiayin obtained a Bachelor of Art & Science degree in Chinese at Hunter College. She later continued to study for a master at Hunter College, School of Education and will be receiving her teacher certification in May,2024. She believes in student-centered education and teaching based on the needs of students. She is committed to creating a positive and engaging environment for all students and helping to make the afterschool time enjoyable for everyone.

Mr.Ilya holds both Master and Bachelor's degree of composition in Moscow State Conservatory. Mr.Ilya has many outstanding talents, he holds the position of music teacher, composer, accompanist, translator, computer programmer. He's now pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer science at Hunter College.

She holds a Hospitality Management Bachelor degree in St. John's University. She has managed several large events, and offer a professional and friendly service. She had also worked as hostess, audio book host and voice actress, which led to her decision of becoming a Chinese teacher. Through her linguistic expertise, she hopes to make more people aware of the appeal of Chinese phonetics.

Yao Xu--Dance TeacherGraduated from Hunter College with M.A in Dance Education. Now, she is a PhD candidate in Dance Studies in Temple University. She is well-versed in various dance styles. Beyond her technical proficiency, what sets our teacher apart is her genuine passion for teaching. She believes in the transformative power of dance and is dedicated to instilling that same passion in her students.

Wendy--Dance Teacher
Graduated from Hunan Normal College majoring in dance, then spent six years in Beijing Dance Academy for further training. She holds a certificate in classical dance and ballet teaching from Beijing Dance Academy. As well as Chinese folk dance examination certificate, Chinese dance association examination certificate and Chinese Dancer Teacher Certificate. She mainly engaged in dance instruction for children and teenagers.

Bachelor degree of Fine Art from School of Visual Arts. He currently work as both teacher assistant and art teacher in RBH. He is committed to creating a harmonious learning environment that stimulates students' interest and exploration of the arts.
